Much of the time when residential clients have lost files due to a hard drive crash they really only care about their pictures. Well, to the cloud say I 😉 Unless your pictures are intimate in nature feel free to upload them to cloud storage services like Dropbox. 2 gigabytes of free online storage, plus up to 50 gigabytes for a modest fee. Does this not rock? I have clients that syncronize multiple desktops, and their iphone, to the same folder. No more wondering where the pics are – they’re all in the same folder. Linux/mac/windows/iphone – it rocks. Students – use this. No more final papers lost ’cause the computer crashed. All you need is another computer and a web brower.
